The Organisation

This foundation was created in 1987 amidst the war.

Objectives:

Diffusing civic culture far from the polemic debate among rival parties
Promoting permanent civil peace in Lebanon

Means:

-Raising awareness as to what conflicts may cost.Explaining Lebanon's role in its environment. The importance of national unity and national pact for coexistence.
-Contributing to the building of a Lebanese culture founded on the rejection of exclusion and introversion as well as on the consolidation of democratic participation and pacific conflict resolution.
-Mobilizing its human resources to serve the Lebanese society

Since its first days, the foundation has organized many seminars and researches and published many books and articles mainly on the following themes:
-Democracy building
-Tomorrow's citizen
-Social politics in Lebanon……..

2001-2003 projects focus on :
-Youth citizenship, trough launching education for democracy in schools and universities
-Youth facing change and social mutations
-Civil peace respect……
