The UNESCO Centre of Catalonia, with the cooperation of "La Caixa" Foundation and the Generalitat of Catalonia, has developed a project on "Sustainable Lifestyles", consisting in informational materials directed to young people and aimed to question a model of society based on consumerism and to bring about a change of habits, attitudes and consumption patterns oriented to a culture of sustainability.

The materials, ie. an online magazine and a guide for debate are based on the contents of the report State of the World 2010: Transforming cultures. From consumerism to sustainability published by the Worldwatch Institute.
