The director of the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia, Miquel Àngel Essomba, and the director of the Association for Intercultural and Social Mediation with Immigrants, Joaquim Vergés, have just signed a collaboration agreement to express the will to follow up and expand existing cooperation lines between the two organizations.

This means, among others iniciatives, activities of promotion and social dynamisation of groups that are either disadvantaged or in situation of deprivation of liberty, or activities aimed at social participation and inclusion of youth groups, through the promotion and practice of different sports, cultural or socio-cultural events, such as conferences, courses, study committees, outreach events, conferences, interfaith meetings, etc..
