As part of the agreement with the Secretariat for Immigration, Unescocat developed a "Manual of recommendations for managing diversity in companies and other organisations" aimed at improving the integration of foreign workers in working centres.

The Manual contains examples of best practice on managing diversity in Catalan companies and guidelines for developing diversity management policy in business. A working group was created in order to develop this manual which included Unescocat, the Secretariat for Immigration, the unions (CCOO, UGT, Unió de Pagesos), and the organisations CECOT and PIMEC.
