The UNESCO Centre of Catalonia participates in this project in representation of the Spanish State. The project is led by the UNESCO Office in Rabat, the ISESCO and the UNESCO University Chair in Human Rights at Bèrgam. The participating countries, Algeria, France, Spain, Italy and Tunisia, carry out joint research in order to establish the role that national educational systems should have in order to promote social cohesion. Unescocat carried out fieldwork in the areas of Salut, Llefià and Sant Roc in the town of Badalona. The results are shown in the first edition of the Research Papers produced by Unescocat’s Observatory.
