In order to promote the widest possible application of the Convention, Unescocat provides information directly to the World Heritage Centre as well as advice to candidates applying to be included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Unescocat has recently published the Catalan version of the Orientations document which is a guide for the application of the World Heritage Convention. The publication was presented at the 1^st Unescocat Meeting on Managing World Heritage in Catalonia (Tarragona, 15 April 2010).
