Part of Unescocat’s activity in interreligious dialogue is channelled through the UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue (AUDIR), founded in 1997 on the initiative of the Centre. It was constituted as an independent organisation in 1999 and officially recognised in January 2000.
AUDIR is a multi-faith body that brings together and mobilises more than two hundred people from different religious traditions.
