The travelling exhibition on the key issues of water sustainability on our planet arrives in Lleida.

The Public Library Service, in collaboration with Unescocat, has launched a new initiative to promote reading in libraries: a small exhibition directed to the general public aimed at promoting reflection and debate about the social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects encouraging efficient and sustainable water management.

The exhibition, which has been circulating among Catalan public libraries over the past months, is based on the first and second UN World Water Development Report, and has been prepared by the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia Unescocat with the support of the Foundation of Caixa Catalunya and the collaboration of the Department of Environment and Housing of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the Barcelona City Council.
