This international project, created by UNESCO in 1992, aims to promote innovative educational activities among schools in the Western Mediterranean.

Its main objective is education for sustainable development as well as:

• Implementing solidarity and cooperation between areas and people
• Raising awareness about people and places and cultures
• Participating actively in solutions to environmental problems; promoting sustainability in schools and the conversation of natural and cultural heritage.
