On the occasion of the International Year of Reconciliation (2009), the Catalan Network of UNESCO Associated Schools, the Rosa Sensat Teachers' Association and Unescocat carried out an educational project aimed at broadening teachers' knowledge of the ways differences are dealt with in society, whether by racism or other forms of discrimination, and at providing tools to help them tackle this issue in class through participative methods.
