The month of February each year is an occasion for Catalan UNESCO Associated Libraries to organise activities aimed at promoting culture of peace through bibliographical exhibitions, conferences, tale-telling, among others. Activities usually start on January 30, School Day of Non-violence and Peace, with the distribution of bookmarks printed for the occasion to raise public awareness and spread the values of educating for peace, solidarity and human rights.
