Unescocat and Badalona Town Council have had an agreement in place since 2006 to carry out the “Citizen dialogue between beliefs and convictions programme”. In this agreement, Unescocat develops a series of activities and initiatives aimed at promoting dialogue between beliefs and convictions in the town to promote improved social cohesion and living together:
- coordinating and encouraging interreligious dialogue groups
- prevention tasks aimed at facilitating dialogue between the different beliefs and convictions and the civil society
- interventions aimed at facilitating dialogue between communities and local Public Administration
- courses for civil servants and social workers at the Town Council on religious diversity
- exhibitions on religious diversity
- workshops in schools and conferences.
