Over the years, the UNESCO Centre of Catalonia has been consolidating field work with city councils mainly in Catalonia as well as training professional associations; an action based on the respect for diversity and aimed at social cohesion. In recent years this work has been gaining importance and complexity due to the wave of immigration and diversity of backgrounds of the newcomers.

This is a catalogue of actions including assessment, mediation, training and awareness raising that Unescocat carries out to improve diversity management.
