The Observatory aims to be a “watchtower” from which it provides information connected to reality, and theoretical and practical knowledge that contributes to decision making and the development of actions for Catalan public administrations and civil society.

The Observatory:

• facilitates the production of knowledge and tools
• works with Unescocat’s departments and services and liaises with the different institutions and networks
• promotes knowledge and the application of UNESCO Normative Instruments
• publishes and disseminates the digital collection of publications Research Papers (QR).
