The UNESCO Centre of Catalonia, with the collaboration of the Casa Amaziga of Catalonia and with the support of the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation of the Generalitat, is promoting a co-development project for the "Training of Catalans of Amazigh origin with a view to draft local development projects in the framework of UNESCO on human rights and cultural diversity.

One of the main activities of this project is the theoretical and practical course on "Tools and strategies to elaborate local development projects to promote and defend the Amazigh culture and language within the framework of UNESCO on human rights and cultural diversity. The training is aimed to help organizations members of  Casa Amaziga assimilate the discourse on the the promotion and defence of the Amazigh culture and language within the framework of UNESCO's approach on human rights and cultural diversity. It also aims to provide tools to incorporate this speech in the justifications of projects and in the actions carried out in development and co-development projects held in Catalonia and in the country of origin.
